One Medical is focused on radically improving primary care by increasing patient access through 24/7 on-demand virtual care, a best-in-class telemedicine platform, and nearly 200 brick-and-mortar clinic locations across 16 states. We prioritize the primary care workforce by employing all of our physicians, paying them a salary, incentivizing the quality of care provided over the volume of care billed for, and by using technology to reduce the administrative and paperwork burden of practicing primary care medicine. One Medical creates valuable partnerships with employers and health systems to ensure primary care is an integrated, comprehensive part of the patient’s care continuum. Our members enjoy seamless access to comprehensive care at calming offices near where they work, live, and shop in twelve major U.S. markets, as well as 24/7 access to virtual care. In addition to a direct-to-consumer membership model, we work with more than 8,000 companies to provide One Medical health benefits to their employees.

The PCfA initiative gives One Medical an opportunity to: 

• Educate target audiences on the role of primary care in health care and the value that comprehensive primary care delivers for individuals, families, and communities.
• Build awareness and increase the visibility of PCfA through participation and leadership in health policy conversations through strategic positioning.
• Advocate with target audiences on broad themes needed to advance primary care (payment, innovation, workforce).
